The Centre will be closed Easter Saturday 7 April and Labour Day weekend 29 September.
The Centre for Open Education is integral to the University's provision of many opportunities for lifelong learning including flexibility of access and modes of study.
The Centre manages a number of programs:
~ NON-AWARD study
For interest and as a pathway for entry to the BA, BSc, BEd (ECE) degrees)
~ DISTANCE EDUCATION
Undergraduate distance education programs, including the BA, BSc, BEd (ECE) and LLB, and an increasing number of postgraduate distance education programs.
~ SESSION 3
A 3rd academic session introduced in 2011. Provides students with opportunities for acceleration or remedial study.
~ CONVEYANCING LAW AND PRACTICE
Professional continuing education course
~ OPEN UNIVERSITIES AUSTRALIA (OUA)
The OUA program at Macquarie University is coordinated by the Centre for Open Education.
One of the principal roles of the Centre is to provide a primary point of contact between distance education students and the University. The staff at the Centre are always willing to assist you with administrative matters pertaining to your enrolment, and will also determine whether your query necessitates the intervention of an academic adviser.
